  • The portions are very generous. A bit on the greasy side, but absolutely delicious!

  • Great food. Heavy serving, but no card payment and take away. Still, try here. They have delicious rice bowls!

  • We discovered Pommier through Instagram and it definitely lived up to the hype! The menu outside is in Japanese but the friendly staff quickly provided us with an English menu. Everything looked amazing and we decided on the Chicken Karaage Don and Pork Katsu Don. The portions are huge, so I’d recommend ordering a small size for those with a small appetite/ladies. Even my partner, who ordered a regular size, couldn’t finish it! The eggs were perfectly runny and gooey. The Karaage and Katsu were well seasoned. Hands down, the best Oyakodon we’ve had in Japan so far. We’ll definitely be back!

  • Great amount of delicious food for only ¥1,320. Very much a local specialized small shop. Got a Katsudon (Pork Cutlets and Egg Rice Bowl). I attempted to order a large rice portion "Oomori" and got warned by the nice staff of how big the large size really is. The large size is massive. Glad I took the warning and went with the normal portion. Finished the meal and was completely stuffed, got hit by a food coma later in the day.

  • ???????????????????? ???????????? ????????????????? The large quantities will undoubtedly either surprise or underwow local Japanese because they already know what they're supposed to be getting. Nonetheless, I'll make a point of saying that their curry is robust and has a lot more oomph to it as the southern Japan beef cubes they add to it pack a lot more than you expect! Also, excuse my formality, but that southern Japanese beef was the best cut - IT WAS FAT - an unexpected perfect addition to the curry! I had to wait for around 30 minutes to enter and sit down. I had to sit at a stranger's table, but since everyone was eating quietly and enjoying themselves, I didn't find it to be a big deal. Although the immediate order-taking upon sitting down surprised me slightly, the service I experienced was swift and easy. So what was there to worry about when I already knew I wanted curry? Perhaps not knowing what topping I wanted beforehand costed me an additional fifteen seconds of inconveniencing the waitress. Other than that, really, all you have to do is sit down, declare what you want to eat and drink, eat (and drink), pay, and then leave. It's a very popular estblishment, but I most importantly enjoyed my food and I hope you do too!

  • Made it 30mins before closing, and the pork katsu and curry options were sold out. Went for the chicken katsudon in small and was surprised by the portion. I was barely able to finish half of it and barely touched the rice. Not a huge fan of how salty it was tho, but otherwise this would've been perfect.

  • Best Katsu-don in Japan and the shirage chicken was also fantastic. Portions huge, regular size is plenty.
